But today I am not going to go on and on about that. At least not anymore than I just did.
I have decided to make it more positive.
I belong with my husband.
We are coming up on our 9 year anniversary and our love is continuing to grow, and we are blessed to have eachother. I love him.
(As you can tell the boys weren't too excited to have to stay still for a quick picture)
I belong with my boys.
I don't think I need an explanation there - I love spending time with my 2 crazy boys and doing fun things with them. We went to the pumpkin farm last weekend, we are going to a local kids amusement park this weekend. I am with my kids a lot but always look forward to hanging out with them and doing fun things!
I belong with my parents.
I belong with my brothers and sisters.
I am truly blessed with a very close family. We hang out a lot. If we don't see eachother in a month we are finding a reason to hang out. Random fish fries or "Let's meet at moms and get pizza" It is wonderful to be so close. I pray that my kids have this kind of relationship with eachother (and hubby and I) when they grow up.
Funny story - a couple weeks ago at my nephews 2nd birthday party my mom exclaimed "Oh! All my kids are here! Lets' take a picture!" We all burst into laughter and my sister replied "Yea... cuz we are never all together..." (heavy on the sarcasm) My mom didn't understand what we were saying at first but then she even laughed at the fact that we are together ALL the time!
I belong with my extended family.
I am super close with my extended family as well. I am the 2nd oldest of twenty-some-odd grandkids and about a dozen great-grandkids. But we still all see each other at least several times a year (other than major holidays) and I hang out with my cousin and her little boy occasionally as well!
I belong to my church.
I love the church we belong to. It is a huge congregation, but it is so fulfilling that it is wonderful to be there. I also started helping at Faith Formation. It is nice to get a little more involved in the church.
I am truly blessed and thank God for all the blessings in my life. I am trying not to dwell on what I've lost, but look to what I have.

What a sweet post!! I'm sorry things are going so well with your friend, but you're right, you have so much to be happy about!
It can be so hard when friendships change.
That is awesome you have such a big family that you are close to.
Friendships do change, and sometimes it's hard to grasp why, because someone else changes before we do.
You are lucky to have all those positive influences in your life.
You belong to wonderful people. What a blessing!
You have such wonderful people around you. Especially your family. I so wish I had that.
You look fabulous in that silver dress!
It definitely sounds like you are surrounded by all that matters and that is what counts. Great pictures of you and your family!
