Beautiful

Joining Kmama today for a Proud Mommy Moment!

I could probably join in this Meme every week... if I remembered to do so... or if I was actually on the blog world often enough... But I am joining in today for a Z-man Proud Mommy Moment.

Z-man is such a sweet little 6 year old.  He honestly has such a big heart and is so loving and caring, it doesn't surprise me that he inspired me to join in!

This past Sunday I woke up to him beside my bed at 6:30 am (okay, it was supposed to be 7:30, but since we turned clocks back it was 6:30 and I was up with a sick Little B in the middle of the night, so I was tired)

Z-man says in a whisper  "Mom.  Wake up.  I have to show you something beautiful."

Me:  " Z, I really don't care if there is snow on the ground, Mommy is tired, want to lay with me for a couple minutes?"

He crawls in and cuddles next to me - then proceeds to walk his toy bug all over me...

Yeah... not going to get anymore rest, so after a few minutes I say "Okay, Z, Mama's getting up."

We get out of bed and start to walk out the door.

"But Mooommmm  I have to show you something beautiful."

Can't you show me out in the living room?

"No, you need to look out your window."

Okay, let's have a peek buddy.

We walk over to the window and look through little cracks in the blinds and he was right.

We saw the most beautiful sunrise coming up through the field with some bare trees shadowed in its brilliance.

"Isn't it beautiful Mommy??"

Yes.  It is.  Thank you for sharing it with me sweetheart.

I love that he notices and appreciates things like a beautiful sunrise.  He is a very special boy.

What is your Proud Mommy Moment of the week?
