Turkey Bowl 2011

I volunteered to help out at my son's preschool Thanksgiving Feast on Monday.

The kids will enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with turkey, applesauce that they made in the classroom, corn, bread, and milk.

After the feast we will have a craft of making styrofoam turkey card holders and then the fun begins!

I was in charge of the game.

The teacher mentioned maybe hot potato to me... but I had my own idea...

Turkey Bowl 2011!

I took the boys plastic bowling set and hot glued construction paper feather cutouts to the back and googly eyes to the "head"

As soon as I had them done my boys couldn't wait to try them out!  I hope they are as big of a hit in the preschool classroom (pretty sure that won't be a problem!)

The nice part about the plastic bowling pins and hot glue... when you are done it all peels right off!

Get ready to meet your match Mr. Turkey!
