Monday morning it was back to school! I had a happy little first grader and a preschooler hiding from the camera!
After I picked Little B up from preschool we had a little lunch date (he wanted hot dogs from Target - but that wasn't my idea of the best lunch place, so we went to an area hot dog shoppe which I love - he loved it too - a hot dog and a chocolate shake!)
Tuesday's are always a crazy day. Z has school of course, I watch my nephew, Baby G, then after Z gets home from school we drop off Little B and Baby G at my sisters then go to Faith Formation. After Faith Formation we have to do dinner then homework. Needless to say I am exhausted by 8 pm!
Add into all that my sudden urge on Tuesday to make Pepperoni Rolls. I never made them before, but the breadmaker did a great job mixing the dough, so it was super easy! (They didn't last too long in our house either, so they must have been good!)
Wednesday we had a quiet day. I caught the boys sitting with their heads through the railing watching tv before school.
Then after school I caught them sitting on the same chair playing computer games together. They are buddies!
Thursday - another Baby G day - he asked me for some nuggets, I got them for him and a minute later looked over at him on the couch and he was sound asleep. (He is getting so big!)
Friday I had a dinner at my church for my volunteer work. I went alone (it was for volunteers only - they had invited over 600 volunteers and had about 250 come!) It was a really nice evening. Wine and cheese then a pasta dinner provided by a local restaurant.
Saturday morning was a pretty morning. A little bit of snow back on the ground and a pretty sunrise. I love this old tree on the edge of our field. (This is the view from my bedroom window)
Sunday we took the boys ice skating. They did great! They had not been ice skating since lessons last spring - Z didn't have any troubles, but Little B was a little fearful of falling and not as eager to go on his own as his big brother!
This week is going to be a little different - the boys are off on Monday (today) for Martin Luther King Jr day and then off again on Friday (Act 80 - since the 9 weeks ends on Thursday) I am thinking we might try to go ice skating again on Friday, we will see what it brings though!
What did your week look like?

Ice skating...haven't been in years
looks like a busy week
the kids are off of school today too, our last day of quarter/semester was last friday with only an early dismissal...not complaining, one three day weekend is all I need right now ;)
Wow, you had a busy week!
So sweet how good of friends your boys are!
We have today off and then next Monday and Tuesday. Are the kids going to school in January? Doesn't seem like it!
I love seeing them playing together! They're so cute, and how funny that he fell asleep in that chair.
I hope you have a great (short) week!
